Setting up 8K IPTV on MAG box
MAG and compatible boxes do not use an app. You enter a portal address in the box’s settings and it loads its own on-screen menu. Portals are usually tied to the box’s MAC address.
Before you start
- A MAG or compatible set-top box
- Your MAG portal address, registered to the box
- The box connected to your television and network
Open the portal settings
On the box, go to Settings, then System settings, then Servers, and open the Portals screen.
Enter your portal address
Type your MAG portal URL into Portal 1 exactly as we sent it. Leave the second portal blank unless you have a specific reason to use it.
Save and reload
Save the settings and restart the portal, or reboot the box. It connects to the portal and loads its menu of live channels and on-demand content.
Check a channel
Open a live channel to confirm playback. If the portal does not load, check that the MAC address on the box matches the one your line was registered with.
That is it
Once a channel plays cleanly you are done. The same steps repeat on any other screen using the same login, up to the device slots on your plan.
